Andreas Bender has made wine since he was 13, and is yet to make a wine we don’t like! Whilst he is based in Mosel, his red is from the Pfalz, as it is one of the warmer and drier areas of Germany. Grapes do well here and it’s possible to ripen red varietals consistently. His winemaking is low intervention and his Pinot is  matured in a combination of French and American oak barriques.
