Jane Okruashvili is the sister in this wine who was a trained political scientist, who switched to winemaking to reconnect with her cultural heritage. The family have 7 hectares in different places in the Alazani Valley. All wines are made in their 12 Qvevri at the house plus two other cellars totalling 20 qvevri in all.  Made with the native red Tavkveri grape that has spent 18 months in qvevri and bottled unfined and unfiltered. This rosé is ruby cherry in colour, almost a light red, and utterly delicious.
