Judith Beck is seen as one of Austria’s top winemakers, she inherited the business from her father after having trained at Cos d'Estournel in France and Errazuriz in Chile. 

She is also one of the 11 women in wine,  a movement set up by 11 strong and successful female winemakers who decided to come together to fight against the male dominated wine industry in Austria. Whilst the group says men and women make wine technically in the same way, there is something about when a woman makes wine that gives it extra depth!
